| Mesopotamian origin of the stick kalmuŝ Hittite Assis.prof.phd. Salah Rashid Al-Salihi Center revival of Arabian scientific heritage Baghdad University (Abstract) Stick used by shepherds in every times & place, to help them to capture the animal from their horns or legs. It has been assumed that, these sticks were used early in the history of humanity. It is assumed such curved staff used since a very early period in the history of mankind. Also, it considers as symbol of strength or as tool used for religious rituals, and who used it previously did not feel the truth they were using grazing tools. It was considered often through the rulers that they are shepherds of their people. The shepherds did not stop their using stick it become as a model of the tools which used in rituals and scepter, and till now the stick used for cattle grazing, and it can be observed in shepherds stick of twenty-first century Also, it was to help man walking which shows the variety of use, and the curved stick Hittite (kalmuŝ) - can be a model for the sticks in Roman times and eras that followed later, but such assumption needs to be a special study, generally there are several factors which malison that are all are these curved sticks derived from a single model?
