Abstract
Ibn Battota Whose journey Lasted more than aquarter of acentury, started in 725 A.H 1324 A.D and ended necording in 756 A.H/ 1355 A.D,shawed the spiri-tual and religious aspects of Sufism in the tim of his writing which cLarified the presence of political and social dimensions for the sufi establishm- ents he visited.they were considered as religious and role in affecting the public.they were used sometimes in directing the ruling power and thy had adangerous role in deposition and inauguration.
