Abstract
The research are consist of five chapter, as it included the first hapter on the front and the importance of research, where the two were addressed to the general idea of the effectiveness of swimming and the use of statistical equation in the field of sports because of its role in the extrapolation of the expectations of coaches. And the goal was to identify research strengths and weaknesses in the evolution of swimming 100 meters freestyle, through the use of statistical methods and predictive as well as to identify how accurate prediction results used to determine the expected level of achievement of the swimmers for this category equation. While the problem of the research focused on the non-use of statistice predictive equations to determine the level of achievement for a swim 100 meters freestyle in a scientific way and simple. The second section has contained some special topics in swimming and in the selection in the sports field, and the third chapter, which contained the research methodology was used as a descriptive approach and the sample was selected from Iraq Champions category applicants specialists actively swimming.
