| Abstract Zubdat at tawareekh manuscript :its content and significance for modern for history of basra Zubdat at tawareekh manuscript by abd al wahid bash ayan (1866-1919)is considered abig historical effert. The manuscript consists of 16 parts ,the first 9 parts of them wrer devoted to the Islamic history.the other 7subsequentparts for modern history . the auther depended on the sources of the family library(abbassids library)in this work.The of the manuscript:it mentionedto us the international news it conscentrated on the ottoman state in relations,wars,and treaties with the European states.it gave us historical unformation that is usful about Arabian_ottomani relations and it paid attention to the relation with the hisodraphiesof v11 as rulers,seienlists,and others v11 whether they arabs or ottomans.The others devoted many pages from the fifteenth and the sixteenth part to describe basrah city andspeech about its events, and its relation with ottoman state since the ottomanni conqer of basra in 1546 up to the british conquer in 1914.it included the information about basra concerning the political,economical ,social archestic issues and even the geographical ecoloy.hence,the manuscript is considered asignificant surce the students and the researchers on ottoman state issues and the issues of the Arabian reigion,and basra in particular. | ||
