| The variety of religions and ethnicities in Iraq is one of the boons bestowed by God. This may be the cause for making Iraq a pioneer in the scientific, literary, and artistic fields and a major station for the important scholars, artists, philosophers, doctors, and others. This is why the study of the Sabians is part of the historical study Iraq for they inhabited the south of the country for thousands of years. Despite their small n umber and the difficult circumstances, they have an effective value in the Iraqi society. | ||
