| Abstract | ||
| In the pre-Islamic era, the tribe represented the basic pillar in the political life especially when the tribe, at that time, was like a state in terms of its administrating all the social, economic and political activities. Tribal racism represented one of the prominent signals of belonging to the tribe and that the tribe position transcends and grows according to the number of values and considerations (the number of people, the power and wisdom of the tribe's men and the economic and religious privileges) the tribe has. The political effect of the tribe has not stopped in the Arabic societies in the Pre-Islamic era or post0Islamic era. Frequently, that effect was the decisive factor in the military and political situations through the ability of the tribe, either alone or with its coalition with other tribes, to change the balance of the military and political powers where it masters the situation. In this research, the researcher sheds light on the following: 1.The tribe and its political position in the Pre-Islamic era. 2.The tribe and politics in the Prophesy era. 3.The tribe and politics in the Caliphate (succession) era. | ||
