| Abstract | ||
| The study aimed to: 1. Identifying the proportion of the use mental imagery among team sports players. 2. Identifying the level of mental imagery among some team sports players. 3. Differences study in proportion of mental imagery between football, volleyball and handball players. Research questions: 1. What is the level of mental imagery among some team players (football, handball, volleyball)? 2. Are there any significant statistical differences in the level of mental imagery between football, and handball volleyball players? It has been used a descriptive approach to its relevance to the nature of the research, and included the research community on the (45) players divided into (15) football players, (15) handball players and (15) volleyball players. The researchers used (percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and correlation coefficient, test F) in the treatment of statistical data that have been obtained, and the researchers found to the following conclusions: 1. The percentage of mental imagery among the sample of the research within the average estimate according to the scale used in the study. 2. There are significant statistical differences in the level of mental imagery between football, and handball volleyball players. 3. Volleyball and football players have a higher mental imagery than handball players. The researchers recommended the following: 1. The trainers must pay more attention to the psychological aspects, like the rest of the components of the training process. 2. Emphasis on the use of mental imagery by athletes during training and competition. 3. Mental imagery training should be in conjunction with of skillful physical and tactical training. | ||
