| The Abstract This study is devoted to the current concepts of dollarization and the difficulties which make it vague both as a concept and an index. The importance of this study comes from finding new concept for the dollarization that may exceed these difficulties. So the study divided into two sections. The first one dealt with the current concept of dollarization, it is Indices, the justifications of dollarization, and the negative and positive effects of dollarization. The second section displays the difficulties that surround the current concept, which was concluded by the new and suitable notion of dollarization.
