| Abstract | ||
| Data acquisition is an important part of any type of instrumentation. New technology can be used to make data acquisition system more portable and powerful. Android mobile operating system which is an open source and widely acceptable, can be used to make a data acquisition and a control system. This paper presents the automated approach of controlling the devices which has been designed by mobile phones having Android platform to automate the lights, fans, bulbs, and reading temperature by using on/off relay via Bluetooth interfaced with microcontroller programmed by using MikroC PRO for PIC, and Android system JDK is used to develop the system, which is proved to be very efficient and convenient. | ||
