| Abstract | ||
| This study propagates a preview of the fundamentals of Arab poetry during Al Jahilia era, and the prosodic structure of ancient Arab poetry in its originality at various historic eras. These basics, however, retain their prestige over time as fundamentals for poetic creativity embroidered literary textuality by its rhetoric and viability. Saliently, prosodic iconicity and metrical sublimity in Jahilia poetry design the most feasible element in versification alongwith themechanics of patency. The artistry of poetic images upholds the levels of eloquence of any poem. In essence, Pre Islamic poets' comprehensiblyis deduced from thepoetic legacy of Arab literature especially in creating their images. In the current study, the rhetoricof Bin AbiSulma is configured by exploring his fertile repertoire of imageries and his attitudes of incorporating iconic images of his poetics. Zuhair's poetic iconicity might stem from a triple kinetic consciousness framing the artistry of any literary modal, namely the desert, the Jahily poetry legacy, and the psychology of the poet himself and his versification attitudes. The paper outlines some distinguished features of Zuhair Bin AbiSulam's poetic creativity explicated by his temporal productivity, and his creativity of geek imagination and metaphoric extensions of euphoric sphere in mapping his world of imagination. A meticulous study of Bin AbiSulma's poetry indicates that he was talented in coining his images, metaphor and other metrical assets. Their implications were vetted with care and delicacy as being exposed in his metaphors, similes, allegories and parables. The paper concludes that our poet is one of the paragons of the master poets of the luminary era who established a pilot school of poetry. A trend where his originality of metaphoric expressions and allegories is highly exposed. Similes foregrounded in his versification embed a featurestic access of multi-dimensional pictorial imaginaries of accessible nature. The poet excels others in coining many multi-sided images of perceptible figure reflecting deep semantic competence of presumptive and perceptible skills. | ||
