| Abstract | ||
| This paper tackles the internal Russian policy during the reign of Czar Alexander II. That policy is considered as an important factor that resulted in many events and changes inside the country that had an impact on deciding the fate. The paper is divided into an introduction, three Chapters and a conclusion : The first deals with the Czar's reformative policy in the field of agriculture that he followed after he ascended the throne including abolishing serfdom. Chapter two discusses the most salient changes happening in administration, the judicial system, education and Army. While Chapter three exhibited the activity of the opposing national movement and the assassination of Czar Alexander II. The Conclusion sums up the most important results including those related to the nature of the internal policy adopted by the Czar, and the extent of the success of the reform he made in the agricultural, administrative and judicial fields, as well as the major obstacles he faced, and the reasons behind the opposition movement against his policy. | ||
