| The study (coverage of sporting activities in the local press Alkrblaiah newspaper (Karbala today) a model) for the period from 15/04/2013 until 15/07/2013, represented by numbers from the number (356) to the number (368) to reach a number of conclusions and study aims to 1. Identify the priorities of Karbala newspaper today in dealing with sports events .2 identify the press Arts of sports news in the newspaper and Tkaradtha. 3. knowledge of the press release, objectivity and technical that contribute to the achievement of persuasion in the news sports properties. 4. monitoring the variation in coverage of sports news (geographically). The study found a set of results was the most prominent of 1.
