Abstract
The research tackles intertextuality between Nahj Al-Balaga and the poetry of Mahmood Sami Al-Baroodi. It is known that in the Islamic world, writers and poets have been influenced by the great books whether scientific or religious specifically the Holy Quran and Nahj Al-Balaga. When we review Al-Baroodi's poetry, we notice that this contemporary Islamic poet is influenced by Nahj Al-Balaga in its meanings and vocabularies. He is also influenced by the concepts of the book such as forgiveness, toleration, patience, thoughtfulness, moderateness, and death
