| Abstract | ||
| The research proved through the use of descriptive, analytical and comparative methodologies, that the relative weakness produced in attracting power of tourist arrivals to the Sulaymaniyah province at the level of the Kurdistan Region, is not the result of a lack of the number of tourist facilities and services in the past five years. Although no upgrading those facilities and tourist services to the required level, and this is illustrated by the low occupancy rate indicator of the total beds in the province. And spatial variation in the distribution of investments between the provinces of the region during that period had a negative impact on increasing the power of spatial attraction by acceptable manner. This unequal distribution between the provinces of the region was not for the benefit of the development of the tourism sector in Sulaymaniyah province significantly, in order to facilitate in generating greater spatial power to attract tourist arrivals to the province. | ||
