Abstract
One of the most planning subjects that we can recognize, the problems obtains from the infrastructure services. In cities, especially in Iraq. The focusing of these problem reflecting mainly the human activities in the special space which they live in. The research is start with introduction and four chapters as well as the conclusions and proposals, the first chapter discusses the theoretical framework for the infrastructure impacts, the second chapter discuses infrastructure in Iraq and its impact on the economy and investment Iraqi Matanih of technical problems, planning and management, the third chapter study the role of geographic information systems and their importance in infrastructure planning and the fourth chapter study the area with surrounding urban development and increases in population and residential space as a result of new secretions without taking into account the potential which led to a worsening of the problem clearly. Then study found that most of the sewage and drinking water in the study area has end-of-design and the need to change, as well as the pumping stations and the treatment is old and rickety and Atoakp progress, and modern techniques available, not to mention the lack of awareness and lack of culture and the policy of rationalization and abuse in use of the drinking water and sewage systems by the citizens in terms of linking the informal causing contamination of drinking water as well as the break in the water and sanitation and poor routine maintenance planned and the lack of attention Baladama by the competent departments, as well as the lack of design capacity for treatment plants and drinking water compared to increasing growth in the study area as a result of new secretions, causing pressure on services, which requires increasing the stations and network maintenance and service under-served neighborhoods. And reached to find appropriate solutions to address the problem by using GIS systems, constructing carrier lines and treatment plant and drinking water purification plant set up with water complexes. With regard to the aspect of telecommunications and radio communications Vtmtaz weak absorptive capacity and the deterioration of the wireless network and the failure to adopt the towers in the communication process , which has become used to a small turnout and the tendency to use other means of communication and the study found constructing wireless function with increasing the number of towers.
