| Abstract | ||
| This study was carried out in laboratories of Plant Protection Department and the fields of Agriculture College Basrah University during season of 2013 -2014 . The results of the field survey showed that the disease gray mold was found in all regions of Basrah governorate and it caused by the pathogen Botrytis cinerea. The highest infection percent was reached to 50.4% in Al- Zubair, while the lowest infection was noticed in Agriculture College fields(12.6 %). The results explained that the bioagent Trichoderma harzianum had ahigh antagonistic ability against B. cinerea.The antagonistic degree is one according toBellindex. The results showed that the bioagent added to soil was more active in reducing the infection percent than the bioagentsprayed on plant foliage, 36.44and48.87% respectively in compared to control treatment which was 5.2%.It was also noticed that the treatment combination among pathogen, Switch and bioagent added to soil (BSTh2) led to reduce the infection percent to 23.33 % followed by the treatment of combination among pathogen , Beltanol and bioagent added to soil (BKTh2) which reached to 30.66 % compared to the pathogen treatment (B) which was 53.16 % . Furthermore it was showed that the treatment BSTh2 recorded high fresh and dry weight of shoot and root systems 199.2 , 35.49 ,60.61 and 15.62 gm respectively compared to pathogen treatments which were 116.8 ,17.94, 18.46 and 5.26 gm respectively .Also it gave larger leaf area and leaves number 72.40 cm2 and 26.30 leaf / plant respectively compared to the pathogen treatments which were 47.90 cm2 and 10.10 leaf / plant respectively . In addition, this treatment (BSTh2) increased the plant length and plant production up to 65.39 cm and 2755 gm / plant respectively compared to the pathogen treatment which reached to 30.12 cm and 1036 gm / plant respectively. | ||
