| Abstract | ||
| The research aims to identify the level of information awareness of the faculty members in the / Rusafa Institute departments and the research skills that they possessed , The study came up with a number of conclusions : 1-One of the main reasons for the information needs is, representing in preparation of lectures for curricula and for the purposes of scientific research to upgrade, these two reasons are get pride of place compared to the other reasons that have been mentioned . 2- information awareness for faculty members are good in teaching Skills and the ability to prepare research, as it received the highest percentage in the study 39% ,Either the ability to determine the interest and draw conclusions from information that has been obtained on the lower percentage that reach 7% . The study came up with a number of conclusions, including: 1- establish educational programs shows the importance of information literacy and its impact on Teaching skills . 2- urged faculty members to gain information awareness and the introduction of expertise and cognitive skills and the use of information technology skills in the search process . 3- supporting and developing the use of Iraqi Virtual Library that it Provide databases and electronic resources for free for researchers and faculty members , | ||
