Abstract
Industrial development experience in Iraq passed different stages of time during which he witnessed the sophisticated and sometimes a clear decline in the level of industrialization It has been associated with the nature of the political , economic and security incidents experienced by Iraq through these various stages , which were reflected in many of the cases negatively on the decline in the level of industrial resettle in diameter very high rates , especially since the reality of industrial decline refers to a decline in the number of large industrial enterprises of the ( 1446 facility for the year 1980 to 526 in 2010 for the facility ) The early stages also saw to experience Manufacturing in Iraq and the existence of bias where I am for industrial investments in the advanced areas that are in the big cities center , including the capital, Baghdad, Mosul because they enjoy the economic benefits of a large positive helped her through different time stages on the continuation of attracting industrial investments in light they possess more focused industrial and urban at the country level and at the expense of weakening the chances spatial polarization of the provinces other industrially underdeveloped or less developed . Thus it requires a need for an assessment of the nature and characteristics of manufacturing through each point in time.
