| Abstract | ||
| The aim of this study was to find out the effect of licorice extract on body measurements and histological changes of the testes in (18) Awassi male lambs at aged( 2 - 2.5) month.Animals were divided equally in to 3 groups as following: Group (A)treated with licorice (300 mg/kg B.W/week) orally, group (B)treated with licorice (400 mg/kg B.W/week) orally and group (C) was kept as a control group. The results revealed the followings:groups A and B showed Significant (p<0.05) increase in body length, chest girth and hip girth comparing with the control group, while group A showed mathematical increase compared with group B in front and back height. The study of the histological changes showed superiority of group A compared with groups B and the control. | ||
