| Abstract | ||
| In this paper we obtained Bayesian estimation of the Scale parameter θ for the Laplace distribution under the Generalized Square Error Loss function(GSELF) and Compared with a Bayes estimator under Quadratic loss function(QLF).We consider non- informative prior for the Scale parameter Using Jeffrey's prior information and the classical estimator, as Maximum likelihood estimator (MLE). All these estimators are compared empirically using Monte Carlo simulation. The performance of these estimators is compared depending on the mean squared errors (MSE's). | ||
