| The research aims to shed light on the impact of the geographical proximity factor in drawing a picture of relations between Iraq and Syria through various stages, based on historical and analytical approaches. Show of the search that the geographical location of the neighboring Syrian Iraqi factor in the development of relations, as the two countries are linked by several religious and national, linguistic and common history can lead to a high degree of integration between them if they had followed a foreign policy towards each other takes into account the geographical aspects of both countries.
