| Abstract | ||
| ABSTRACT The religious tolerance purports the merit of the cultural diversity and embraces the thoughts and philosophies from the angle of accepting each other. It inaugurates psychological readiness; tolerating and accepting the other as he is. It is to delve into the points of consensus and eschew the points of dissension. That is to say, one is to pay respect the opinion of the other as such it is of truth; it is to admit the right of the other, and it never means clemency or resignation. Yet it is to broach a positive stance admitting the right of other in maintaining his rights, it is a custom countries, groups and people have recourse to. For the observer, Islam is the best in embracing such a culture through two isles; theoretically in the Glorious Quran and the speeches of the prophet and his posterity (peace be upon them), and practically in Islamic history that incarnates the most marvelous portraits of intellectual tolerance. | ||
