| ABSTRACT The current paper tackles such hindrances; the narrative term in the traditional Arabic criticism and the renaissance, then it takes a shift to the new and contemporary criticism since narratology grows as a science whose aspects ramified into linguistics, humanist sciences and whose terms settled, translated into Arabic and well defined. For the sake of objective contextual study , it is possible to trace such hindrances and other ones under a contextual study for certain specialized dictionaries ; Dictionary of Narrative critical Terms by Lateef Zeitooni , Dictionary of Arabic Terms in Linguistics and Literature by Majdi Wahba and Kamil Al-Mohandis, Literary Critic Guide by Nabeel Raghb, Literary Critic Guide by Leejan Al-Raweeli and Sa`ad Al-Ba`azi and for much universality and to survey direct translating hindrances it is to take hold of the specialized dictionary for Narratology ; Dictionary of Narratology by Gerald Prince, Dar Merit. | ||
