| ABSTRACT The present paper manipulates an important epistemic case pertinent to a phenomenon of interaction between theology and syntax: the impact of theology on syntax. The problem runs into an inquiry: Does Arabic syntax consult sheer language or the target language? That is to say; when syntax scrutinizes a language from which a grammatical rule could be inferred; does it scrutinize such a rule in an abstract way or a theological one? | ||
