| The idea of this study on the proposal to expand the (channel –al-tharthar) as a result of the achievement of the results of previous research that stopped at the expansion as well as reducing the excessive waste in the amount of water obtained by the Tigris River from the basin north dam Samarra, and for being located on the largest amount rallying point of water to the basin of the Tigris River at the dam Samarra discharge of (9000 / m3 / s) and this is not enough to limit the control and storage daily and annual and extraordinary floods, came the proposal to expand so as to be able to discharge the amount of the amount of water (20,000) m 3 / eighth through the use of technology and data of ancient and modern, through the application of computational and engineering equations | ||
