| Abstract | ||
| This research deals with the impact of Islam on the poetry of Abu Tammam, the well-known Abbasid poet, as the researcher found that Abu Tammam was highly influenced by Islam. When one looks in Abu Tammam’s collection of poems, he will not find a page or a poem but the impact of Islam and Islamic concepts is very clear in. The research proved, with strong obvious evidence, Abu Tammam’s discharge from disbelief that his enemies and opponents accused him of and from his being weakly influenced by Islam and its concepts. The research also dealt with aspects of Abu Tammam’s being influenced by the Holy Quran, Sunnah, Quranic stories, the sayings of the Prophet’s companions and followers, and Islamic culture in general. | ||
