| iven the direct insects to humans often do with it is natural to have an important affair in Islamic jurisprudence, so traced in this study the provisions of the insect and heuristics in three sections: The first topic addressed the insects are defined in the language of scientific and idiosyncratic and terminology, and the types of insects, etc. reported of them in some of the texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah. The second topic addressed the origin in the governance of food and drink, and views of the jurists about eating insects, And third topic addressed provisions of killing insects and provisions sell them and opinions of jurists in it. On the results of this study show that the concept of insects in Islamic jurisprudence much of it wider in scientific terminology, and the customary understanding prevailing, and insects took an important space in the text and the provisions of Islam because of its significant impact on human life and other living things, had differing views jurists doctrines in ruling on eating insects between the expansion in judgment has permitted eat all the insects for those who do not harm him they Maalikis, and between the narrow rule has forbidden eat all kinds of insects they Aljafería and Hanafis and those who mediate in judgment and separate the prohibition of certain insects and the legalization of some others who are the Shaafa'is and the Hanbalis, and the locust is the only insect agreed all scholars in all doctrines on the permissibility of eating properly and to the presence of an explicit provision to legalize off.
