| Abstract | ||
| Imam Al-Nawawi is Abu Zakaria Yahiya Bin Sharaf Mrri Imam Al-Hafith Al- Nawawi Al-dimashqi . He was born in Muharam (631 A.H.) ,and he has died (676 A.H.) . In this study , many of Al-Nawawi 's replies to the grammarians have been tackled .Such replies drived from the prophet's well- attested traditions which deny their claims that this grammatical structure is linguistically substandard.Accordingly , it seems that Al-Nawawi 's replies are right since they are based on the Arabs standard speeches.So, the use of this grammatical structure is just a standard one but less used and this does not mean that it is not standard. Hence, the use of such structures in the prophet's traditions is a good proof of their correct use . Finally, the researcher has discussed some of Al-Nawawi 's explicit replies ,the first one appears in the occurrence of "Awshaka: in the past, the second one appears in the coinage of the noun in the superlative from colours and flaws , while the third one has to do with the formation of superlative from good and evil .All this is being appended by sources and references Praise be to Allah forever and ever . | ||
