| Abstract | ||
| The financial markets represent a financial tool to a chieve the mobilization of savings and directed them to finance a Various investment projects. The aim of this research is to study and analysis the performance of the primary and secondary markets in Jordan for the period (2000 – 2013) to evaluate them and show the divergence from the determined targets of the market by using economic indicators of that market. The main feature of Amman financial market (primary and secondary) shows volatility in its performance by using economic indicators which enables in diagnostic the strength and weakness points of this market in order to put remedies and develop it in future, which positively reflected upon its economic performance This paper shows the weakness of savings capacity that can used it through the primary market in the Long- run Investments, the paper also shows the weakness of absorption capacity of the primary market. In addition, there is a wide gap between the size of funds directed to investments in securities in primary market and the size of the funds used as deposits in the bank system in the period under consideration. | ||
