Abstract
In this paper the researcher will compare the method of moments and method of moments modified to estimate the parameters and function reliability for the distribution of Birnbaum-Saunders with the method proposed is a method of shrinking, was used simulation to compare these methods and using two criteria for comparison are the average of squares error (MSE), the average error relative absolute (MAPE) and the average error squares integrative, has been a priority method of shrinking in the estimate.
