| Abstract Objective: The aim ofthis study was to establish th€ antibacterial activity ofthe extracts ofThymus r.ulgaris against staphylococcus aureus in vitro. The antibacterial activity of different concentrations in (0.25%,0.5o/o,l%,2yo) of the dried leaves and flowering tops and oil ofThymus vulgaris were examined on fifty five isolates of staphylococcus aureus that isolated fiom different samples (gingival , saliva and dental caries swabs) from patients of dental clinics of College of Dentistry in Al-Anbar University . | ||
