Abstract
Is one of poverty of the complex and interrelated phenomena that have implications for how people are social, economic and in physical dimensions only, but beyond the denial of emotion, health, education and even adequate housing, as well as the human right to freedom of expression and participation in the decision, so focused on a number of international organizations and the World Bank Many of the governments to follow the many programs to alleviate poverty and this depends on the diagnosis of poverty and the state of the country's economic and cultural level and economic which enjoys community indicators, judging from the above we have tried in this research to identify poverty in general and the extent of his relationship with the Iraqi labor market with raising the strategies that followed by the Iraqi state in the reduction of poverty and the extent of its success and to identify obstacles to work with, with the study of unemployment in the community and its relationship with poverty and the role of economic development plans and macroeconomic policies of the labor market to raise the real income of the Iraqi individual level and improving human development indicators (Income, education and health) to the ranks of developed countries, and concluded that poverty in Iraq, a temporary condition linked to the current situation will go away demise because it is a rich country economic in natural resources and has oil resources and other energy that works for generations to come as long as the country pursues sustainable development, which is human is the end and the means
