Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of antibiotic (zinc Bacitracin) and symbiotic (Biomin Imb52) supplementation on productivity of Japanese quail (Coturnix coturnix Japonica). one hundred and thirty five 13 wk-old Japanese quail were weighed to equal live weight in all groups at the beginning of the study. The experimental quails were divided into three dietary groups of similar mean weight comprising 45 birds each, consisted of 3 subgroup containing 15 birds each. Treatment groups were assigned control Group A (unsupplemented diet), Group B (0.5 kg per ton “ zinc Bacitracin” supplemented diet and Group C (1.0 kg per ton “biomen Imb52” supplemented diet) . Results showed that Supplementation of symbiotic and antibiotic to diet increased the final body weight (p≤0.05) and egg production percentage accumulative, Feed conversion ratio and egg mass (p≤0.05), respectively , as compared with the control ,while showed decreased in mortality(p≤0.05) of symbiotic and antibiotic to diet . symbiotic supplementation also significantly increased final body weight and decreased mortality percentage compared with antibiotic supplementation . The present results confirmed the beneficial effects of dietary symbiotic and antibiotic to improve the health condition as well as the productive of quails
