Abstract
This study was conducted at the poultry farm, Department of the Animal Resources, College of Agriculture, University of Baghdad. From September 19 to October 31/2014.The objective of the study was investigate the effect of different levels (0.15, 30) and different sources of copper (copper sulfate and copper acetate)in broilers diet , on some blood characteristics , to choose the best source and concentration of copper their interaction. A total of 540 mscxed , one day old Ross broiler chicks were used in this study. Chicks were randomly divided in six interactions (90 chicks / interaction). chicks were fed starter diet from 1 – 21 days, containg 23% crude protein and 3027 Kcal metabolic energy/kg.and from days 22-42 they were fed Finisher diet containg 20% crude protein and 3195 Kcal metabolic energy/kg. Two source of copper were used in this study, Inorganic copper (copper sulfate) and organic copper (copper acetate) to those diets starting from the age of 1 day until the end of the experiment amounting to 42 days The results of the experiment to a lack of moral differences between copper organic and inorganic sources as it was not to the different copper source of any significant effect in most of the qualities in terms of results indicated that organic copper source led only to outweigh the moral in the concentration of hemoglobin and the proportion of differentiated cells into lymphocytes, as the results showed a superiority add copper concentrate 15 and 30 mg / kg superior moral high (0.01> P) concentration 0 mg / kg in both the size of blood cells stacked (PCV), red blood cells (RBC) Hemoglobin (HB) and low in white blood cells (WBC) and the proportion of differentiated cells into lymphoid cells.
