| This research deals with the ground domain (back) and marine area (match) and its impact on the commercial activity of the port of Imam Khomeini, which is the second largest port in Iran, because of its importance in the international trade, and the adoption of part of the Iraqi exports and imports. In the introduction, the research examines the importance of the study of ports in the scientific research, the concept of the port, and the classification of ports> it also addresses the location of the port of Imam Khomeini, the ground domain of exports and imports, and sea domain.
