The research aims at investigating:
- The effectiveness of physical exercises, using (2%)additional weights to the first experimental group, on a number of physical for youth football players.
- The effectiveness of physical exercises, using (4%)additional weights to the second experimental group, on a number of physical for youth football players.
- The effectiveness of physical exercises, using (6%)additional weights to the third experimental group, on a number of physical for youth football players.
- The differences inthe number of physical for youthfootball players in physical exercises by using ratios (2%, 4%, and 6%) of additional weights.
Research Hypotheses:
- There are differences that have moral significance, between the pre-test and post-test of the first experimental group, by (2%) in a number of physical of youth football players.
- There are differences that have moral significance, between the pre-test and post-test of the second experimental group, by (4%) in a number of physical of youth football players.
- There are differences that have moral significance, between the pre-test and post-test of the third experimental group, by (6%) in a number of physical for youth football players.
- There are differences that have moral significance among the three experimental groups, in a number of physical for youth football players.
The researcher used the empirical method, because it corresponds to the nature of this research; the samples of the research are the youth football players of North Gas Sports Club, in (2014-2015) sport season. The players are 24 ones in total, divided into three experimental groups; 8 players for each group. The ratio of the additional weights used for the first group is (2%), and the second group used (4%), while the third one used (6%). Balancing the variables: (training age, length, and the mass of the body), is made in the research for the three experimental groups; in addition to balancing the physical in the research. Concerning the key steps, they were as follows: conducting questionnaires and interviews with specialists, so as to determine the ratios of the additional weights, as well as standardizing the physical exercises and determining how much they fit to the samples of the research. The key steps of the research also comprise the designing of the training program. The researcher conducted the pre-tests for the physical in three sequent days. After that, the training program was applied for two mid-cycles at (1:3) undulating motion, as eight short cycles. The pre-test and the post-test of the physical were conducted in the same procedures adopted in conducting the pre-tests.
Conclusions:
- The training program applied to the three experimental groups, that used different ratios of the additional weights: (2% for the 1st group, 4% for 2nd group, and 8% for the 3rd group), produced a moral development in the whole physical variables adopted in the research, which are: (the maximum transitional speed, the speed-strength of lower limbs muscles, the speed-strength of abdominal muscles, the explosive power of lower limbs muscles, the speed-strength of upper limbs, speed endurance, agility, and strength endurance of lower limbs muscles)
- The training program achieved a significant advancement, in the whole physical variables in the research, to the 3rd experimental group that used (6%) additional weights, more than that is achieved to the 1st group that used (2%), and that is achieved to the 2nd group which used (4%)as well. That is because the 3rd group used additional weights heavier than that are used with the other two groups, which induced to more utilizing for the motional units that led to the advancement of the strength and speed higher than that of the other two groups.
- Using additional weights proved higher effectiveness in developing the physical variables of youth football players.
- Using the repetition training method is effective in developing the level of the youth football players, as well as in developing the skillful variables by using physical exercises in different ratios of additional weights; because the used intensities highly correspond to the characteristics of the game, in addition to kind of the recreation used in this method which is complete one; subsequently it provides the players with the possibility of total recovery by reconstructing the energy stores by a large margin.
Recommendations:
- Football coaches are recommended to use additional weights in the physical exercises in certain ratios to develop the physical aspect of football players, because the research proved its effectiveness in developing the strength and speed, and that it is of the important physical requirements of football players, especially if these exercises mix between fast performance and strength.
- Using physical exercises in ratios higher than these used in this research to the players. |
