Abstract
The study aims to demonstrate the importance of environmental costs and highlight the role of accounting in the measurement and analysis of environmental costs and their impact on decisions by users of the information provided by the accounting system, because the environment has become the most important factors affecting the cost of the production cost in order to achieve the objectives of the study were to identify the form included (39) question was distributed to some industrial companies in Anbar province and analysis of study samples and use the T-test to test the study hypotheses and key findings study (92%) Members of the sample felt that no application for the environmental costs of the lack of qualified human resources of interest in the environmental costs and the difficulty of measuring and identifying and separating these costs total costs and one of the most important recommendations the need for corporations to protect the environment and provide financial support for the preservation of the environment.
