Abstract
المستخلص:أوضحت الدراسة وجود بكتريا Azospirillum spp. على جذور أصناف الشعير العراقية المزروعة في ثلاث مناطق من العراق إذ أمكن عزل وتوصيف النوعين A. lipoferum وA. brasilense من مجموع النماذج المدروسة. كان هناك تباين في كفاءة هذه العزلات لتثبيت النيتروجين الجوي. وبينت هذه الدراسة ان أفضل مدة لعزل البكتريا هي بعد مرور شهرين من الإنبات. كما ان معظم العزلات عالية ومتوسطة الكفاءة قد تم عزلها من منطقتين بغداد و الموصل. Abstract:Azospirillum spp. were isolated from root hairs of barley cultivars in three regions in Iraq. They were identified as Azospirillum brasilense and Azospirillum lipoferum from study samples groups. It was the most efficient species in fixing nitrogen. This study showed the best time for isolation of Azospirillum spp. after two months from germination. It was found that the most efficient isolates were obtained from samples of Baghdad and Mousl.
