| Abstract | ||
| Objectives of this study were to determine the some quality parameter of 4 frozen shrimp trademarks sold in Sulaimani city markets, a total number of (20) sample belonged to 4 foreign trademarks were collected from different parts of Sulaimani markets. The label information and Appearance evaluation were conducted for all samples also the samples were subjected to some physical and chemical tests to determine their quality and suitability for human consumption. The proximate chemical analysis referred to presence of significant differences in moisture, fat and protein content among the four trademarks except for ash content. The shrimp from trade2 and 4 has higher pH means value and total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N) exceed the limited of TVB-N, but for TBA value all trademarks not exceed the limited value .We can concluded that 4 trademarks not acceptable for human consumption due to high pH value and TVB-N value. | ||
