| Abstract | ||
| The currency auction is one of Modern quantitative tools used by the Central Bank of Iraq to control the money supply and in turn on the Iraqi dinar exchange rate. the stability of the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar is one of the most important economic stability, which leads to economic development indicators. The current research tries to prove the effect of selling US dollers by Central Bank of Iraq in the Iraqi dinar exchange rate with the US dollar for the period from 2010 until 2013. The search was based on a major assumption, and that was recognized by using standard quantitative approach, namely: "There is a statistically significant relationship between the US dollar sales Central Bank of Iraq and the Iraqi dinar exchange rate." The research concluded that the CBI was able ( through US dollar sales ) to affect the Iraqi dinar exchange rate by (36%). the direction of the relationship appeared positive while the logical trend is negative meaning that research reach a diagnosis of a defect in the result of the use of This obscenity. | ||
