Abstract
There is no doubt that our world today is experiencing a tremendous information revolution, which has eliminated many obstacles that have hindered many intellectual, cultural, political and economic projects and ideas, in which Dr. Ahmed Abu Zeid praised: "The discovery of computers and the Internet was not just an alteration in the way Access to information, but it was a real cultural revolutions in the way of interaction and thinking (). After the world has been in the midst of a vast experience of knowledge is firmly established today, while the Arab world - and we are part of it naturally - is looking at the feasibility of adoption. The position on many things, developments and innovations has not yet been resolved, especially in the field of higher education, the focus of our study. Distance education, although it has become a global experience that has sold beyond the five decades, is still a system not recognized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education. Digital libraries, which have begun to make significant strides in their diversity of sources and multiple classifications, are still unreliable sources. Iraq's research and university transcripts are often criticized in most Iraqi universities. Therefore, research on the impact of the development of technology on students of higher education in Iraq is very important, especially that our talk revolves around a social reality, the West is harvesting its fruits and our failure to deal with it. The study was based on a survey method to measure the level of students of the Faculty of Information in dealing with technological developments. The questionnaire was prepared under the supervision of Dr. Iser Khalil and Dr. Khaled Ismail at the College of Information / Islamic University.
