Abstract
Attention to the concept of talent management has increased in recent days as has been one of the important organizational changes to support strategic decisions, thus this research aims to define the concept of talent management and all terminologies associated with it, and familiarity with the importance of talent management in business organizations in general and in supporting the strategic decisions in particular. It also aims to learn how to apply talent management in supporting strategic decisions in the health field at the Medical City Hospital - Baghdad. Through detechion the impact of talent management dimensions which are namely (attracting talent, management of talent performance, progression of talents, retention of talents) the impact of strategic dimensions decisions are namely(comprehensiveness dimension ,incremental dimension, cangarbag dimension , natural choice dimension) to support strategic decisions , and to achieve the objectives of the research a questionnaire was developed and distributed to a sample of (50) people which included (managers and professional heads of departments in the hospital). In the aim of the processing data that was collected, a set of statistical tools using a statistical program (spss- ver20).The most significant findings of the research is that there is a correlation and significant effect between talent management and strategic decisions through the role of management talent and its four elements to strengthen the capacity of the hospital management to take strategic decisions successfully. The most important recommendations draw the attention of hospital management the subject of research for the need to manage the talents and make them part of their culture for its effect in raising the ability of workers on supporting its importance strategic decision.
