| Abstract | ||
| The research has been carried out to identify whether the students of the College of the Quranic Studies have the skills of listening and to improve these skills via constructing a suggested training program. The sample has been chosen from the department of the miraculous language of Quran, the fourth class. It is composed of (140) male and female students. The research has employed a questionnaire submitted to the jury to identify the listening skills which the students of the sample are required to have. The test of listening skills has been employed to know whether these students have these skills; suitable statistic methods have been used such as the percentage ratios and the (T) test. The research has come up with a list of listening skills and the training which the students are required to have. The study has revealed a low level of the sample students in all the required listening skills. The suggested training program has an effect in improving the listening skills of the students of the pre-mentioned department | ||
