Abstract:
Most countries of the world look at investment as a necessity for economic growth, and sensitive, effective element for the advancement of their economies, so most of these countries have developed their investment and improve the business environment, investment climate and remove its restrictions among themselves to attract investment.
The research aims to demonstrate the impact of inter-Arab investments on economic development in the Arab countries for the period (1995-2014), the research found that the impact of inter-Arab investments on GDP was weak ,and the best period has affected the GDP in Arab countries was in 2005, and the results the result of the econometric study found a positive relationship between the two-way investment, and GDP in the Arab countries, but these results have been suffering from autocorrelation problem , therefore cannot be Cannot be adopted in planning and forecasting for the future.
After addressing the problem by using a fictitious variable the results showed an inverse relationship between the two-way investment and GDP, and this is incompatible with economic logic of economic theory, so researcher use a variable slow in addressing the autocorrelation problem and the results indicate that there is a direct correlation between investment and GDP , this is consistent with the economic logic, The results indicate that increased with inter- investment by one unit leads to increased GDP (1. 126) with the stability of other factors.
The study recommended the need for the political will of most of the Arab countries in the Establishment of a cooperative Arab economic cooperative , and work to raise the savings and domestic investment and interconnection rates, besides the need to diversify the non-oil revenue sources, and follow-up and utilization of international investment indicators , the development of infrastructure to be suitable for the investor to establish projects based on strong economic fundamentals, and thus increase the chances of success and continuation of investment projects. |
