| Abstract | ||
| This research deals with the Christian religion at the Maghreb region of North Africa before the Islamic conquest and the obstacles that prevent the Christianity from spreading widely. Despite the efforts made by the Christian clergy, the resistance at Maghreb was associated with the Christian religion. At that time, the Romanian authorities were in paganism, which was imposed on the entire population. However, the followers of Christianity were the weakest in the conflict with the Romanian empire, which oppressed them and that led to the emergence of solidarity movement with the victims of the Roman violent. At the beginning of the fourth century the Romanian authorities embraced to Christianity, and made great efforts to spread Christianity, and legalized itself to intervene in church affairs for giving priority to the party that served to maintain a balance in the country and use it as propaganda when the need arises. But later resistance against Romans evolved within the appearance of Donatism movement after it allied with the rebel peasants who were weary from state taxes, and by Roman landlords, who deprived them of their land and turned them to seasonal workers subject to Mr. Romanian feudal. | ||
