| Abstract | ||
| This research deals with the issue of the acceptability of coherence in the dimension of reproduction of the literary texts. This has been achieved by originating the dimension of reproduction in the language of the text. It has been found that the concept of acceptability of coherence is present in the criterion of intertextuality which is considered, by some of the specialists in the field of text linguistics, as one the features inherent in the different types of texts since it is inevitable feature of all texts. Then, the theoretical apllicational efforts of the ancient Arab scholars and critics has been examined according to this point of view. | ||
