| Abstract | ||
| Abstract The research aims to study the health conditions in the Emirate of Kuwait during the period that preceded the beginning of the health activities of foreign where in 1904 , with research focused on the importance of site Kuwait geographical location, because of its importance in the transmission and spread of many pests and diseases suffered by the population of Kuwait , and methods of treatment before Log in modern foreign health services . As research found out that Kuwait was living conditions of poor health , which provided the opportunity to be a risk for the spread of epidemics and diseases between now and then , were these epidemics kill people's lives and infect each other disabilities permanent , and this is what happens , for example , when infected human blindness result of exposure to the epidemic of smallpox. Despite holding several international conferences to reduce the spread of epidemics in the Arabian Gulf region , and exit a number of resolutions and recommendations , but it did not limit the spread of these epidemics. It seems that the purpose of this conference was to prevent the spread of epidemics coming from India towards the Arabian Gulf and Europe . As well as we should not forget the economic situation is bad for most of the population of Kuwait , as it is well known that poor man in terms of supplier financial mostly be less people interested in his condition of health , the concern to provide a living for himself and his family under difficult working conditions may contain a lot of risks. Moreover , it was the spread of ignorance among the Kuwaiti society , that form an obstacle to the development of health awareness , not to mention the lack of modern medicine from doctors , hospitals, devices and drugs .. , so I adopted the population of Kuwait on folk medicine and the experiences are tempted to treat their patients .. And that did not work so patient waiting for even thrown fate . | ||
