| Abstract Town Astorqh in the far north-west of the Iberian peninsula, north of the Doarh River in a mountainous area and rugged, and the region is a refuge fleeing from the Goths in front of the Arab conquerors , the two leaders Musa Bin Naseer and Tariq ibn Ziyad has realized importance of that region racing the time in order to control it because of the pressure AlKhilafa on them at the time of the need to stop and go back, and so Astorqh was the last point they obligated to stop before they return to Damascus. In spite of the short duration of Muslim rule to this city (94-136 AH / 712-753m) However, that period was full of important and exciting events in the history of the region, as it continued even after the fall of the various Muslim leaders military target until the end of the fourth century AH / tenth century, We will highlight in this research on the city and its significance site, then open the Muslims have their settling them, and their role to face Christian movements that started from the perimeter, then fall and attempts Muslims to retrieval, which lasted until the end of the fourth century AH / tenth century. | ||
