Abstract
Arabic language is a vast sea with a rich repository, that no one can reach to it, unless with fruitful and continuous efforts. Those who approached to this sea, turned into a realiable scientific source and trained the researchers whom with remarkable ambition, crossed the path of growth and development of Arabic language. The result of their works was the strength of this language and the extension of the exact meanings. One of the most influential intellectuals and thinkers was Abu Hayan Al andalousy. His boundless knowledge motivated the writer of this article to analyze his syntactic ideas in his book “El Bahar El Mouheet”, and investigate theinfluence of former syntactic theories on Abu Hayan’s works. Due to the extent of Abu Hayan’s syntactic theories and ideas, the authors of the article have mentioned just some of his viewpoints and opinions. First, in the present article there is an overview of Abu Hayan’s life and his eminent scientific position, and then the authors analyzed the Sets up ,which concludes object and semi objects--proclamation, exceptions, requesting—and their meaning realm in the book “El Bahar El Mouheet”. in the end of the article the authors explained, the role of “Sets up” in the comprehension of the verses of Qur'an.
