| Abstract | ||
| The manufactural industry is considered as the main driven engine of economical and industrial improvement through its effective role and performance in formation of the local output. The importance of the manufactural industry lies in its effective roles in protection of the national industry by increasing the exports and decreasing imports as well as equipping the huge numbers of manpower, in addition to its ability to achieve technology progress. The manufactural industry is suffering from many problems and obstacles which caused rapidly decreasing in economic performance. The more significant problems and obstacles are: Most of the production lines were shut down (stopped ) Obsolescence of the used technology , Destruction of the infrastructure like(electric power, water supplies transportation means ) , The weakness of the local market, Dropping of the citizen purchasing power, Following the saturation of the market policy, Funding problems due to local banks distrust with these industries because of its big losses , Unstable political environment , Legislation problems , The lack of the strategically vision for the industrial improvement process that suits with Iraqi industrial situation . Basing on above, It is recommended to prepare the fundamental requirement to create suitable environment to reform the national industry and determining the most important essential strategies and policies which are considered as important priorities for developing the industry that make it able to overcome challenges. For that; the government should has future vision for the industry aims to build advanced manufactural industry sector. To achieve these objectives, the industry needs for many five-year plans to ensure essential changes in manufactural industry role. According to that we can say that : the availability of improvement requirements of the manufactural industry for the purpose of enhancement of its Competitiveness and integrity became urgent need besides it became national mission.
